Following the successful delivery of eight rudder systems for four MEKO® A-200 frigates, LOEWE MARINE, Bremen, is currently realizing a major follow-up project for the Águas Azuis consortium, which is led by thyssenkrupp Marine Systems.

Special LOEWE MARINE "NAVY ES-Opt" rudders
Due to the excellent performance of the MEKO® A-200 rudder orders, the Bremen-based rudder specialists have received the follow-up order from Águas Azuis, a consortium that includes tkMS, Embraer Defense & Security and Atech.
LOEWE MARINE was commissioned with the development, construction and delivery of eight special full-spade rudder systems for four defense vessels that the consortium is building for the Brazilian Navy's Tamandaré-class frigate program (FCT). Equipped with special LOEWE MARINE NAVY "ES-Opt" rudder systems with eight differential cylinder rudder systems, the frigates will offer the highest level of energy efficiency and signature optimization for naval applications.
